Lynette Foskett

In 2011, Lynette embarked on her journey with Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital after dedicating 23 years to the public hospital sector. Her remarkable tenure has afforded her a wealth of experience and an intricate understanding of healthcare operations and strategy.

Lynette’s expertise in the healthcare field is both deep and diverse, further enriched by her certification as a Registered Nurse in 1989. This foundational experience compliments her Master’s in Health Administration and Bachelor of health, solidifying her leadership in healthcare management and policy. Her practical nursing background, underpinned by a Diploma in Applied Science Nursing, lays the groundwork for her clinical skills. Additionally, her Graduate Diplomas in Clinical practice, Clinical education, and Emergency and Trauma, showcase her proficiency in enhancing clinical standards and educational excellence. Lynette’s commitment to quality and safety in patient care is epitomised by her Graduation from the Australasian institute of Clinical Governance, marking her as a leader in clinical excellence.

Dr. Roxana Heriseanu

Inpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr Roxana Heriseanu is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician with 25 years of experience.

She is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, International Spinal Cord Injuries Society, Australasian and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society and ISPRM.

Her areas of interest are: Spinal Cord and Traumatic Brain Injuries Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Spasticity Management, Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment, Geriatric Reconditioning, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Chronic Pain Management.

She has participated in research projects in traumatic brain injury and dual diagnosis (spinal cord and brain injury) as a postgraduate research fellow affiliated with the University of Western Sydney and is a co-author of publications in this field.

Dr. Jaya Ganeshkumar

Outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr Jaya Ganeshkumar has been working at Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital since 2012. She provides care and guidance for the day program patients with the Alwyn team.

Dr Jaya Ganeshkumar has been a Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, since 2013. She is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FAFRM, RACP). She obtained her medical degree from the University of New South Wales (BSc (Med), MBBS).

She has worked at Concord Hospital, St Joseph’s Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, and Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney (Brain Injury Unit, Spinal Unit, Spinal Outreach Services) during her training in Rehabilitation Medicine.

Putting the patients first, her passion is to provide comprehensive, holistic care for her patients. She also has a keen interest in research and teaching.
